Reflection

My reflection  During the third quarter in ICT 10, I learned a lot about using computers, software applications, and different digital tools more effectively. The lessons helped me understand the proper steps in creating outputs and how to use application features correctly. I realized that being accurate, creative, and responsible is very important when working on ICT tasks because it affects the quality of my work. I also discovered that technology can make schoolwork easier and more organized if it is used the right way. Through hands-on activities, I was able to apply what I learned, which helped me become more confident in using ICT tools. As time went on, I noticed that I became more independent and more careful when completing digital tasks. Aside from technical skills, ICT 10 also taught me discipline in using technology. I learned how important it is to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and take good care of equipment. These lessons are not only useful in school but als...

Celebration of Christmas Season

Image
Celebration of Christmas Season The celebration of the Christmas season, in its true essence, goes beyond bright decorations, gifts, and festive gatherings. Christmas is a time that reminds people of love, kindness, and faith. It commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ, whose life and teachings inspire compassion, humility, and selflessness. More than a holiday, Christmas is a season that encourages people to reflect on their values and strengthen their relationships with others. At its core, Christmas emphasizes giving rather than receiving. Acts of generosity, whether through sharing food, helping those in need, or offering time and care, reflect the true spirit of the season. Simple gestures such as forgiving others, expressing gratitude, and spending meaningful time with family and friends carry deeper value than material gifts. These actions create warmth and joy that last beyond the holiday itself. The Christmas season also brings people together and fosters a sense of unity. Fami...

Philippine Indigenous Month

Image
Philippine Indigenous Month The  Philippines’ National Indigenous Peoples (IP) Month is a meaningful celebration that honors the rich culture, traditions, and identity of Indigenous Peoples across the country. Celebrated every October, this event reminds Filipinos of the important role IP communities play in preserving the nation’s history and heritage. With the theme “Weaving Culture, Enriching Future: Empowering Indigenous Communities as Bedrock of Sustainable Development,” the celebration highlights how indigenous knowledge and practices continue to shape a better and more inclusive future.  Indigenous culture can be compared to a woven fabric, where every tradition, language, and belief is a vital thread. These cultural practices are not only symbols of identity but also sources of wisdom passed down through generations. Indigenous Peoples have long practiced sustainable ways of farming, caring for nature, and maintaining harmony within their communities. By protecti...

My insights about President Elpidio Quirino

Image
President Elpidio Quirino Elpidio Quirino was born in Vigan, Ilocos Sur. He worked as a teacher and clerk before earning his law degree from UP in 1915. He entered politics in 1919, serving as a Representative, Senator, and Secretary of Finance, gaining crucial administrative experience. He became Vice President under Manuel Roxas, helping lead early post-war recovery efforts. Presidency & Achievements: Quirino assumed the presidency in 1948 after Roxas's death. His administration focused intensely on national reconstruction following WWII devastation. Key achievements include establishing the Central Bank of the Philippines and launching significant industrialization projects to stabilize the economy. Legacy: Quirino is remembered for his compassion, notably the "Quirino Doctrine," which advocated for the humane treatment of Japanese war prisoners despite his personal losses during the war. National Children's Month

Image
National Children's Month The 2025 National Children's Month theme, “OSAEC-CSAEM Wakasan: Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng Bata, Ipaglaban!” is super important. It directly tackles the massive threat of Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) and Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials (CSAEM), which are huge problems in the digital world. It's a call to action to completely stop these abuses and fiercely protect kids' safety and rights. The government does have strong laws like the Anti-Child Pornography Act and specialized units in the police and DSWD. This shows they are serious about their role as the primary protector of children. However, the biggest issue is implementation. Enforcing these laws against online abuse is tough because the internet is global and the material spreads so fast. We need the government to invest way more in digital forensics, training for law enforcement, and providing better, faster support for survivors. Justice needs to...

Celebration of teacher's day

Image
This year's theme, " My teacher, my Hero " really feels like home. It makes me think about how much teachers do for us, not just in school, but in our lives. They're not just teachers because they are also the light to the students, they guide us to help us grow and become better people. Every teachers always do more than they have to. They make lessons fun, help us when we're struggling in school works, they also  help us become curious, think for ourselves, and love learning. When we have personal problems and family problems they give the best advice to cheer us up and they also encourage every students to be confident in themselves. Our teachers gives us a lot of information for us to learn new knowledge, they also teach us to become responsible in our school works and encourage us to study hard. They are not just a teacher, they are also our second parents who teach us to become respectful and kind to other people, like older people and even younger to us. Wh...

National science month celebration

Image
My insight on national science month celebration The theme for the 2025 National Science Month, "Harnessing the Unknown: Powering the Future through Science and Innovation," is all about how science and progress go hand in hand. It shows that when we try to learn new things, even if it's hard, it helps make life better for everyone. "Harnessing the Unknown" means scientists are brave enough to explore mysteries, like space or our bodies, and "Powering the Future" means using what they find to solve problems and make things better. In the next few years, science and society will be even more connected. Science used to seem like something separate, but now it's everywhere, from our phones to our medicine. Society asks the questions, pays for the research, and sets the rules, while science tries to find the answers. This teamwork will become even more important as we deal with big problems like climate change and health issues, which need new solution...
