Every year, everyone is gathered for the celebration of High School Day. It is one of the most special day because we honor the 124th existence of our school this year. Every students from junior high to grade 11 had our practices for our performance for the high school day, and newly hired teachers and promoted teachers also prepared a special performance for the special day. The theme of our high school day this year is Disney songs and every grade level are only allowed to have a practice during our mapeh period only, grade 10 boys Disney song title is We don’t talk about Bruno, while the Arabian nights is the song title of grade 10 girls. We practiced our dance in the field so we were sooked in sweat during our practice, there are times that we start from the top again and again because we can’t memorized the steps very well and we make mistakes. Even if we are tired, we need to practice more because practice makes perfect and there are also times that we have to practice over time just to make our performance clean.
When they achieved their expectations for our performance, they instruct us to make our props. The props of grade 10 boys are flowers with different colors and a plastic on their hands, while the grade 10 girls props are hijab, mask made with fabric and two pamaypay.
The 6th day of march is the day we celebrate the 124th day existence of Ilocos Sur national high school. We start the parade at 7:00 am and we were our props during the parade. The performance was started at 9:30 am and the first who performed was the teachers who are newly hired and promoted, they start the celebration with a simple but wonderful performance.

Grade 7 boys and girls was the one to start the performance, their props made their performance really good and they are very energetic.

Grade 8 boys and girls was next to perform with a guitar and plastic bottles props for boys, and for the props of girls was flowers and surf board, they both performed very well.

The props of Grade 9 boys is cowboy style, while the props of grade 9 girls is hat, sword and cloth, they also have a main dancers, their performance was wonderful and they’re synchronized well.

For grade 10 boys and girls, we all performed with full energy and the bright smiles of boys and our props made our performance wonderful.

The grade 11 boys and girls dance very well, they synchronized very well and their props and music really matched together, they are really used to perform well because of their previous performances during junior high.
As the field demonstration end, they announced the winners, grade 9 won for the boys category and for the girls category the grade 11 won. We are very happy for the results because we all knew that they picked the best of the best and we also happy because despite of the exhaustion we had during practice paid off because we performed well and we enjoyed our performance and the parade. This high school day made me realized that this is the last year of us being a Junior high and become a senior high next year, because of this celebration, this will be the last year that I enjoy being a a junior high. Time really flies so fast and I will keep these memories to my heart. Next year we will perform again for the 125th year of the school, not as a junior high but as a Senior high student.
