4th quarter Reflection

This 4th quarter in ICT was really interesting because I learned a lot about websites and how to make them. At first, I didn’t really get how websites are planned, and I thought making one would be super hard. But as we went through the lessons and did the activities, it started to make sense. I realized that making a website isn’t just about making it look nice, you also need to think about how everything is connected.

One lesson that I liked a lot was about sitemaps. Before this, I didn’t even know websites have a structure or plan. When we made our own sitemap, I learned how the main page connects to other pages and how to arrange the information so people can find what they need easily. At first, it was kind of confusing, but after doing it myself, it became clearer.

We also tried Microsoft FrontPage, which was fun but a little tricky. I got to make my own web pages, put in text, images, and links, and see how it looks like a real website. I liked that we could actually build something while learning, instead of just reading about it. It helped me understand how websites are put together in real life.

Overall, this quarter really taught me new skills in planning and creating websites. Some parts were hard at first, like figuring out FrontPage or organizing a sitemap, but practicing made it easier. I feel like I can use what I learned in the future, not just in school, but maybe even for projects or personal websites.
