The Story of my Life 

I’m Elaisatess Cariss Agam, 14 years old, and I am from Bayubay Norte, San Vicente, Ilocos Sur. Since I was a little I enjoy to draw as well as to play damath with my cousin. I also participate in the damath contest when I was in the 4th grade, but I did not won and that's okay. I enjoy playing badminton, ukulele, watch k-dramas, listening to music, singing and dancing. I'm an extrovert person when it comes to the people that I am closed with including my family, but I am not really good at socializing to other people.

 I am a student in the Special Program in Mathematics. Before entering junior high, I didn’t plan to be part of this program. I simply tried taking the entrance exam and unexpectedly, I passed. I thought it would be difficult to be in a special program because back in elementary, I wasn’t very active in class. But when I entered junior high, I found it fun and enjoyable. I learned new things, improved my knowledge, and gained the confidence to participate more in class. Throughout my junior high journey, I became more focused and serious about my studies and eventually became an honor student. 

I have a simple life. Unlike some teenagers who are wealthy and easily get the things they want and need, I save my money and only spend it on important things. I am working hard so I can help my family in the future. And the dream that I want to achieve someday is to become an accountant. I know it won’t be easy, but I believe I can reach it through hard work and perseverance. Now that we're grade 10 student and we're moving up, I chose the STEM strand because I believe that I can apply my abilities and skills in this Strand.
