My career, my future

I’ve always wanted a career that combines my interest in business and the law. My dream is to become a CPA Lawyer so I can understand both the financial side of a company and the legal rules it has to follow. Having both titles would mean I could solve complex problems that most people find confusing, like taxes and corporate cases. The first part of my plan is to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). I like how numbers show if a business is doing well or if something is wrong. Studying accountancy will be tough because it requires a lot of focus and math. Once I pass the board exam and become a CPA, I’ll have the technical skills I need to move on to my next step: law school. In law school, I’ll learn how to defend people and argue cases in court. Being a lawyer who is also an accountant gives me a huge advantage. I’ll be able to look at a company’s financial records and find the truth behind the numbers. This is really helpful for cases involving big business deals or eve...

National woman's month Celebration

Image
National Women’s Month is a meaningful time to appreciate and recognize the women who make a difference in our lives and in society. Every March, we celebrate the achievements, strength, and hard work of women in different fields. It also reminds me that women in the past had to face many challenges just to gain equal rights and opportunities. Because of their courage and determination, women today are able to study, work, lead, and express themselves more freely. This celebration helps me realize how important it is to value and respect the role of women in building a better community. In school and in our communities, different activities are held to celebrate this special month. Sometimes there are programs, discussions, or simple events that focus on women’s empowerment and equality. For students like me, these activities help us understand more about how women have contributed to history, culture, and society. It also encourages us to support fairness and respect for everyon...

4th quarter Reflection

Image
This 4th quarter in ICT was really interesting because I learned a lot about websites and how to make them. At first, I didn’t really get how websites are planned, and I thought making one would be super hard. But as we went through the lessons and did the activities, it started to make sense. I realized that making a website isn’t just about making it look nice, you also need to think about how everything is connected. One lesson that I liked a lot was about sitemaps. Before this, I didn’t even know websites have a structure or plan. When we made our own sitemap, I learned how the main page connects to other pages and how to arrange the information so people can find what they need easily. At first, it was kind of confusing, but after doing it myself, it became clearer. We also tried Microsoft FrontPage, which was fun but a little tricky. I got to make my own web pages, put in text, images, and links, and see how it looks like a real website. I liked that we could actually build ...

Valentines Day

Image
Every year, as the calendar turns to the fourteenth of February, the world seems to transform into a canvas of crimson and pink. For many, Valentine’s Day is a celebration of romantic love, marked by the exchange of chocolates, handwritten cards, and bouquets of roses. It is a day where people go out of their way to express their appreciation for those who make their lives brighter. Even in the hallways of a high school, the atmosphere shifts as students carry around giant teddy bears or carnations, reminding everyone that today is dedicated to the connections we share with others. However, the essence of the day extends beyond just romantic gestures. Always on Valentine’s Day, there is an underlying message about the importance of kindness and companionship in all its forms. It serves as a yearly reminder to reach out to friends and family members, ensuring they know they are valued. Whether it is a simple text message to a childhood friend or a small gift for a parent, the day encour...

LONGGANISA FESTIVAL  Walking through Vigan City during the Longganisa Festival feels like stepping into a place where faith, culture, and history come alive. Along Calle Crisologo, the streets are filled with music, bright costumes, and smiling faces, making the whole area feel warm and full of energy. It is not just an ordinary event but a celebration that truly shows the heart of the Ilocanos. Students from elementary to high school are encouraged to take part, allowing them to share their love for music and culture while confidently showing their talents through dance. One of the most exciting moments of the celebration is the street dancing. Dancers  wearing traditional Filipino costumes move with energy and grace as they carry images of St. Paul the Apostle, plates of longganisa, tambourines, and other symbols of local culture. Every step seems to tell a story of faith, thanksgiving, and the harvest season. The bright colors—green, yellow, brown, and orange—reflect the st...
